Remember the Interleave samples from April this year? After the samples I had some warp leftover, enough for a scarf. (I never really warp up for just samples....) I wove the scarf in the same pattern as the sample, it's an undulating twill and network threading with alternating colours.
I entered the scarf into the Ekka (Royal Queensland show), didn't win a price but it got sold! Good bye lovely scarf, it was a pleasure to create you and thank you to the person who bought it 🤗

Rossignol and his nest:
It has about tripled in size or more. Incredible to watch, he is such a hard working bird. The surrounding of the nest looks really neat and clean. Hardly a leaf in sight.
Even though we know there are eggs in the nest, he is still making it bigger and better every day!
It's quite hard to open the compost bin at the moment. Soon we won't be able to.....
But we still really hope his babies will hatch and that we can witness it happening.

Not feeling too well today.... To still keep my fingers busy, I do some hem stitching for a lace runner. Stitch includes hand sewing the hem and at the same time making a decorative hemstitch suitable for lace fabric.

You probably wondered what I decided to do with all the sorted out cottolin yarn from last week.... I could have easily design something in rainbow colours, but that's too easy 😉. Well I decided to make five different colour designs for t-towels in cottolin for the Christmas sale. This will hopefully use up some of my crazy stock of cottolin yarn 🤪 😝 Huge project.... but lots of colour fun 😁
