**THIS WEEK AT BANSHEES**
Wednesday is for Open Mic! Come have a play, tell some tales, sing some tunes! Chat with Tim at the bar to get on the list, kick off is at 6pm!
Thursday is for Karaoke! Doors open at 6 so if you want to come check out the current art exhibition, Disintegration by sarah x isabella, this could be the time, before karaoke takes over at 8pm!
Friday night we’ve got the inimitable and inaccurately named Rutherford Jazz Trio taking over the venue for a bombastic night of funk, with local legends Squibs and LanGwij bringing some soul, hip hop and jazz to the table. RJT have been selling out venues around Brisbane with their antics and fish hats charming audiences and venues alike, be sure to catch them while you can! Tickets are $15/$20 and doors open at 7!

Saturday it’s our favourite time of the seafaring month because The Salty Sirens are pulling into the Banshees port for their wonderful Folk’N’Shanty night! This month they’re bringing the mesmerising nyckelharpa maestro Sue Ferrers for her final performance in Australia before she moves overseas for a year of further musical study. The sapphic sailors Kristy and Elyse will get you singing along with their sea and she shanties, so come celebrate the end of Pride month with them! Doors open at 7pm and music kicks off at 7:45. And Sunday, get ready for a high-energy night of live music at the Rowdy Roots Roundup, taking over Banshees Bar & Artspace in Ipswich. The aptly named Sunday Lemonade bring soaring vocals, driving rhythms, and a down-to-earth energy from years of touring and recent love from Tamworth crowds! They’re visiting with support from Ella Jones! Tickets are $30+BF online and doors open at 4pm!
