Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that they do not want a waste incinerator in Queensland. The current proposed incinerator in Ipswich should be rejected due to the following reasons:

GOLEBY'S TEMPORARILY BYO
Goleby's is in the process of upgrading it's liquor license which means we have a bridging period - while we wait for the new application to be processed - during which we cannot have liquor sales.
That means for a limited time the venue will continue as a BYO venue and all live shows will proceed as planned.
For those bringing in their own alcohol, we will supply refrigeration and glassware and for that a small corkage fee will be charged.
We will still be selling soft drinks and the water remains free and self-serve.
We hope this won't hinder your Goleby's experience too much and will make another statement here once the venue is back to being licensed again.

If any of my Ipswich friends who support Jim McKee - For Division 7 are able to help out at the polling booths this Saturday 7th October, even for as little as an hour, I would love to hear from you. We have had a few last minute drop outs and need to fill a few gaps urgently. Remember many of the other candidates are backed by the resources of the major parties - even though they run as 'independent'. You'd be helping the right man for the job, I promise you that!
