Meet Siobhan 🔨
She came for a ladies-only woodworking course. What she gets is Woody, three complete strangers and an experience none of them quite expected.
Siobhan brings another wonderfully different personality into the mix as these four women attempt to navigate more than just woodworking together.
Come meet Siobhan and discover what brings these four unlikely women together in The Pink Hammer!

If you were at our One Act Festival last week you probably remember our beautiful bougainvilleas overhanging our courtyard, but you may have forgotten the names of our amazing sponsors so we are going to tell you again... Local Businesses Managed Solutions, Brothers Leagues Club, Ipswich Trophy Centre, RK & JE Sheppard Electrical Contractors. Local Politicians Jennifer Howard MP, Shayne Neumann MP and Wendy Bourne MP. We also had financial support from many Life Members, members and supporters of our Theatre Community. Thankyou to you all.

Meet Helen 🔨
Helen has signed up for a ladies-only woodworking course - but like the other women who arrive at Woody’s workshop, there’s more behind her decision to be there than simply learning how to use the tools.
Thrown together with Louise, Siobhan and Annabel, Helen becomes part of an unlikely group where personalities clash, secrets emerge and unexpected friendships begin to form.
Come meet Helen in The Pink Hammer!

Meet Louise 🔨
She signed up for a ladies-only woodworking course expecting to learn a few new skills.
Instead, she gets Woody… and three other women she never expected to meet.
Practical, determined and with her own reasons for picking up the tools, Louise is one quarter of the wonderfully mismatched group at the heart of The Pink Hammer.
Come meet Louise and the rest of the crew!

Meet Annabel 🔨
She might have signed up to learn some woodworking, but there’s a lot more waiting for Annabel inside Woody’s workshop.
Alongside Louise, Siobhan and Helen, she becomes part of an unlikely little group brought together by The Pink Hammer - with plenty of laughs and a bit of chaos along the way.
Come meet Annabel and see how it all unfolds!

Just a few (but definitely not all!) of the award highlights from our 70th One Act Play Festival!

A huge thank you to all the incredible groups who joined us and brought such a wonderful variety of performances to our stage. It was the perfect way to celebrate 70 years of one act plays, creativity and community at ILT. 💜

Congratulations to all our winners, nominees, performers, directors and crews! What a festival!

Meet Woody, who definitely did not sign up for this.

When four women arrive expecting a ladies-only woodworking course, Woody finds himself facing a situation he wasn’t exactly prepared for.

He’s gruff, he’s stubborn, and he’d probably much rather be left alone in his workshop… but these four women aren’t going anywhere quite that easily.

Come meet Woody and find out what happens when his quiet workshop gets turned completely upside down!

We’ve definitely got the post-festival blues… missing it already!

Our 70th Annual One-Act Play Festival was such a special weekend, with Festival Director Aaron Evans doing an incredible job bringing it all together.

Our 70th anniversary photo board had everyone reminiscing, recognising faces and swapping stories from festivals gone by and it was particularly special to have Life Member and Secretary Helen Pullar, who was there at the very first festival, speak at our closing.

70 years of theatre, memories and community! What a milestone!
