Last Saturday at Studio saw the work in progress showing of Flight! A New Musical by Nicholas Hargreaves.

Perfectly programmed as part of the Planes, Trains and Autos Festival, the show follows astronaut Sally Ride as she meets misremembered figures from aviation history including Kongming, credited with inventing the Chinese lantern, Franz Reichelt, maker of a wearable parachute suit and missing pilot Amelia Earhart.

Flight! was supported by our Hatchery 4305 - Artist in Residence program and a Regional Arts Development Fund - Time and Space Grant.

Flight! will premiere at Beenleigh Theatre Group Inc in September.
Don't miss it ✈️🚀
