Expressions of interest!

Have your say in what we offer through the shed!

Some ideas we are considering are listed below, please comment your interests so we can book them in!

Idea 1: paint n sips 11am to 1pm or 6pm to 8pm? Fee workshop $50-$80pp

Idea 2: Basket weaving workshops 11am to 3pm (4hrs for $50pp)

Idea 3: either of the above but with food included in the fee? Might be extra $10 ($60-$90)

Idea 4: more wire jewellery workshops more formal, materials included $10-$20pp

Idea 5: Clay workshop 4hrs $180-$200pp materials supplied and items kiln dried after.

Options above all come from member offers. All hosted at the The Witch Hotel depending on availability.

We will always have our free craft, create, connect events. :) 💕

Please provide your feedback as we aim to make the shed a great place for everyone to share, learn, create and connect.

All paid events above have some small donation to the shed to help us fund our own space and insurance one day to provide a 7 day shed space for everyone to come as they are whenever they need to. 💕

🎉 Saturday's Fundraising Sale was a HUGE success! 🎉

A massive thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who gave their time and energy yesterday, and to all the wonderful ladies who donated items for us to sell. 🤗💜

We truly could not have done it without each and every one of you! Your generosity, support and hard work mean so much to us. 🥰

Thank you also to everyone who shared our posts, commented, invited friends and helped spread the word about the Ipswich Women's Work Shed and our fundraising garage sale. Every share and bit of support helped us reach more people! 📣💜

And we have some very exciting news… 🎉

💰 We raised enough to get the ball rolling with our registration! 🙌

We’ll be working towards getting everything officially registered over the coming weeks. There’s still a little bit of work to do, including writing our constitution, so it will take some time — but we’re officially on our way! 🥳

This is such an exciting step for the Ipswich Women’s Work Shed, and we’re so grateful to have such an incredible community behind us.
