Nothing quite as satisfying as a deep clean and leaving a tank sparkling 😁

I’ve adjusted the water chemistry to reflect 60ppm alkalinity and 80ppm general hardnes. This stops the tank going acidic between servicing, helps with plants growth and also support the fish osmotic system 😊

Although my new full time has taken a priority I will continue to operate the business and endeavour to provide the services I always have.

I can’t manage all the tanks I was however on my own now and have a helping hand from a gentleman whose been doing a great job. So please don’t hesitate to book in.

Alternatively if it’s just an aquatic question whether it be fish, plants, turtles or frogs, I am always available to chat or message 😊🐠

This video I took of a beautiful big female easturine stonefish (Synanceja horrida) in captivity at a local zoo back in 2020. She was big but can you beleive they grow bigger!! Like up to 47cm!!

I’ve been battling algae in this tank for a little while but when I discovered the timer for the lights wasn’t working about a month ago, we finally stopped seeing it double each day. 😄👌

It was a green May of algae over the whole substrate! Then it was chocking the plants.

So nearly there!! Next I’m getting some darwin algae shrimp (since I’ve moved the purple spotted gudgeon out!) and then I’ll add more plants 😍😍

It’s going to be wonderful to have this tank lush again!
