We will have menu’s for Chinese for Saturday night delivery at the registration table. Order your meal by 5pm through the restaurant for delivery to the caravan park. You can order Chinese and pick it up any night but Saturday they will deliver and you are welcome to have your meal in the function room.

Big River Bands (Hat Bands)

This year will see the return of the Big River Bands. This is where you get together with an unknown group of people, learn a song or 2 during the day, and then perform for us all on Saturday night. As per last year, we will not have any assigned leaders. You might like to have a think about a song that you would like to put forward to your group to perform, maybe make a copy or 2 of it, and see what the group thinks. Always lots of fun, for the performers and audience!

Hope Everyone has done their booking for the 13-15th of February through Kismet Riverside - Howlong NSW just remember that check in times are in the afternoon and you will need to make arrangements with kismet to access your accommodation early.

Lots of jamming, open mics, and get put into a band. Please support our past sponsers, court house hotel, Peter Knight, 1/2 acre cafe, Howlong Butchers and Howlong Country Bakery and our major sponsor River Country Creations. Buy your drinks and food through these guys on your way to camp.

Beginners welcomed , singers welcomed , it’s literally playing as much music as you can over the 3 days!

13th-15th of February

Howlong Can You Jam? 2026 is coming up in a hurry. Don’t forget to make sure your accommodation is booked through Kismet Riverside - Howlong NSW (mention me , you don’t get a discount but it means you’re thinking of me)

A little different this year, we are taking some pressure off the committee.
No group organised meal delivery this year and no bacon and egg rolls for breakfast.

We are working on the schedule now, Big Bands and open mic nights are still happening. Expect some extra organised jam times to help the shyer people to find people to play with. Also hoping to run a 12 bar blues workshop and also a circle of 5ths workshop.

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you have a great New Year’s. Look forward to seeing you all in February at Kismet.

And just like HCYC? 2025 is over!
A big thank you to Nicole, Rohan, Merrill & Wayne for all their work. So many hours goes on to putting together this little jam weekend, and the work continues as we wrap up all the loose ends.

Thank you all for attending and hope to see you back next year for HCYJ? 2026, the dates will be 13th, 14th & 15th of February.
