A message from Louise Gaspari, sister of Cathy.

For those who knew and loved her, Cathy Cleary passed away peacefully with her sisters by her side, at Clare Holland House on 1 December 2023.

A Requiem Mass celebrating Cathy's life will be
held at St Christopher's Cathedral, Canberra Avenue, Forrest, on Tuesday 12 December 2023,
commencing at 6pm

A choir of WVYC Alumni will be singing Let There Be Peace at the beginning of the service and anyone who would like to sing is encouraged to text Cathy’s sister Louise on 0413 041 391 for more instruction

All are welcome

Please dress colourfully to reflect Cathy’s love of sunflowers, rainbows and all things purple.

The burial will take place at 1 pm on
Wednesday, 13 December 2023
at Gungahlin Cemetery.

All are again welcome.

Hello Woden Valley Youth Choir Alumni! We'd love to see some famililar faces at the Canberra Carols by Candlelight at 6pm on Saturday 9th December at Stage 88! Come along and sing with the Woden Valley Youth Choir and Canberra City Band. If anyone feels like volunteering for any jobs too, we always welcome extra helpers. Our last concert of the year is on tomorrow night, Tuesday 13th December, at Wesley Uniting, 630pm. Adults $15, kids free. All welcome.

Join us for our final concert in 2022! With Christmas favourites and some lesser known gems, a jolly time is sure to be had by all!

Dear WVYC Alumni

I am writing to confirm that Don is keen that Let There Be Peace On Earth be sung towards the end of Barbara’s thanksgiving service. Alumni and current choristers will be asked to stand wherever they are sitting to sing. The words we will use are the slightly updated second stanza which uses "family” rather than “brothers"
