Paint a Signal Box in Hobart!

Would you like to see your art showcased around greater Hobart? We're excited to announce that we're once again partnering with the City of Hobart to bring more art to the city!

We're looking for artists to paint 12 new traffic signal boxes across Hobart this summer (2026/27). This is a wonderful opportunity to transform a piece of public space into your canvas.

The City of Hobart is commissioning 8 boxes for individual artists or small teams and 4 boxes for community groups.

Each artist or group will receive a $500 fee per box.

We had a great time managing last year’s project and are excited to once again see what artists create this year!

Mill Lane Precinct Mural Project - Call for Artists 🗣️

The Mill Lane Precinct is a project by the St Vincent de Paul Society created to provide safe, modern supported workplaces and emergency relief services. The hub has recently been completed and is now active.

This project will commission an artist to spend time becoming familiar with the programs delivered within the precinct and then paint one or more murals within the new facility. The selected artist will work with Maguire + Devine Architects to find the right locations in the space for artworks, with a great selection of walls up for grabs.

In partnership with the City of Clarence, Vibrance is calling for Expressions of Interest from Tasmanian artists.

Over the next 9 months, we’re commissioning three local creatives to complete a visual take-over, painting a series of temporary artworks on the park's walls as part of a broader revitalisation effort.

It's once again time to recoat Bidencopes lane.
The next Paint Jam will be held on Sunday the 7th of June!
No matter your skill level or age you are welcome to drop past and add your own creative splash to the walls of the laneway or watch and be inspired by others.
BYO art supplies. 10am start. We will have rollers and house paint for backgrounds.
