Alright everybody it's time for the hobos to get busy...
Now - announce lots of bands
Next - announce the venues/dates/times
Then - get the tickets built up and for sale.
Do you feel the excitement building...
OK, so here are (nearly all) of the bands playing. After being inundated with 3x more applicants than spots available, it took us a while to get there. Read on for some highlights;
If you've danced to lively shanties in the wee hours, you'd be familiar with one of our favourites WHISKEY DRAM.
From Ngunnawal/Canberra, we've enjoyed the rocked up political folkpunk vibes of A COMMONERS REVOLT a couple of times before and are excited to have them back.
The DOUBLE DOLE STRING BAND have been a mainstay of Naarm old-timey tunes for a few years. They're known for inclusive jams, calling bushdances and pickin’ tunes to the wee hours.
We're keen to welcome more artists from over the sea, and this year it's the BOTTOM BUNK CLUB coming from the land of the long white cloud. An acoustic quartet that merges the fast paced melodies of bluegrass with the fierce social commentary and f**k you persona of punk rock. They recently supported Crywank too, which is cool.
We have returns from; The Dead Peasants, Quinton Trembath, Impeach Churchill!, The Crop Tops, Hannah Morrell, Crusty Fox and the Deadman's Un**es.
And warm welcomes to; Trauma Cats, Beth Seymour, khoy, Clover Love, Raspberry Terrapin, Scattabrain, Cassandra Hollow.

Rob Taxpayer's solo acoustic shows were sick last weekend. The Punkfest 18+ evening show was SOLD OUT! and a heap of people walked through the rain to brave a shelter in the park for the afternoon AA show after the 4zzz carpark turned into a giant puddle.
This weekends' HOBOFOPO is shaping up to be massive too.

Most of the The Taxpayers shows have sold >50% of presales now. So don't rely on door sales being available, and jump on those presales while you still can.
45 tickets left for Meanjin/Brisbane Rob solo tomorrow night.
40 tickets left for the Naarm/Melbourne AA afternoon show.
70 tickets left for Gadigal/Sydney Get Folked Punk.
80 tickets left for Hobofopo Taxpayers show (and the HOBOFOPO festival passes are sold out).

Tickets have been steadily selling for a month now, most shows are nearing 50% sold, so I figure we can drop some of these 'selling fast - don't miss out' red text thingos on the flier.
So here is your reminder to get onto those tickets asap, save leaving it too late and missing out, and if there's a bunch more tickets sold then i can update those little red markup thingos to be 'low ticket warning' or 'final tickets' or 'almost sold out' or whatever you think should go on there.
