HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KITTY.

From the entire BA Fam, and from me personally, we want to wish our very loved, incredibly talented, kind and generous Ms Kitty the biggest Happy Birthday.

Kitty plays such an important part in the lives of so many within our BA Studios community. Her dedication, passion and commitment to her craft are undeniable, but what makes her truly special is the way she connects with each individual student. The relationships she builds and the way she makes people feel seen, heard, supported and appreciated is something truly remarkable.

Kitty, you are such a big part of BA Studios and everything we continue to build together. Your knowledge, creativity, loyalty and genuine love for what you do are woven into this place, and I couldn’t be prouder to have you standing beside me as part of this team.

On a personal level, you have also been there for me through more life moments than I could ever fit into a birthday post. You’ve supported me, challenged me, made me laugh, picked me up when I’ve needed it and stood beside me through moments I genuinely don’t know how I would have navigated without you.

I’m incredibly grateful that you walked into my life and into the lives of everyone lucky enough to call you their teacher, mentor and friend.

We love and appreciate you more than you probably realise, Kitty, and I hope this next lap around the sun is your best one yet.

Here’s to another year of creating, growing, laughing and doing what we do best, together.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHANNAN. 🤍

BA Studios and I would like to wish our incredibly loved and adored Shannan Harris the happiest of birthdays.

Shannan plays an enormous part in the operation, management and heart of BA Studios. Your knowledge, talent, passion and determination have helped shape this studio into what it is today, but it’s the way you consistently go beyond what could ever be expected that means the most.

You show up with genuine love and support for our students, parents and guardians, staff, and for me.

Over the past 12 months, you have carried me through some unfamiliar and, at times, terrifying moments with strength, loyalty, respect and unwavering support. I can genuinely say I could not have done this past year without you.

Life teaches you that you only need a small handful of truly good people around you. Not the people who push you toward the choices they want you to make so they can later say, “I told you so.” The right people respect you enough to let you find your own way, and if you take a wrong turn or stumble backwards, they’re simply there, ready to help you find your feet again.

That is what loyalty looks like. That is what belief looks like. That is what genuine respect looks like.

I’m incredibly proud and humbled to have someone like that in my life, and even prouder knowing that same person is such a driving force behind the community we have built together.

BA Studios simply wouldn’t be BA Studios without you playing such a huge part in it.

Ps. She’s a pretty good dancer too! 😉

Congratulations to our Champion Soloist, Sammi Grimsey. Your performance was nothing short of exceptional, and we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible young dancer and person you continue to become.

Greta & Piper took to the STDE stage for the very first time and also performed their first ever duo together. We are so incredibly proud of you both and can’t wait to watch your journey continue over the next 12 months. 💕

18 months of choosing passion over doubt, and this is the result. ✨

Watching someone return to the stage after years away and rediscover the dancer within them has been such a privilege.

The confidence, commitment and presence you bring makes it impossible to look away.
