It's been a long long time but I have noticed a lot of views being pinged on this page so I thought I should do an update. Currently I am fitting out my new shed as a pottery and art studio. I'm hoping next year to be holding lessons and workshops with very limited numbers of students, to learn calligraphy, pottery and design/illustrative painting. I also hope to have a Social Art group to just muck about with colour over a cuppa. Meanwhile I have finished off with the Patreon page because I felt I had little more to offer in that form. I will be announcing classes and groups when it's time to do so, but for now it's just at concept stage. Thank you for your interest. :)

Rug-up-for-winter time. There's snow on the mountain as I see out my kitchen windows. Right now there's a bit of mist about the mountain sides, but when it clears, the forested foothills will be very dark in colour, and the whole mountain will look like cake with icing sugar on the top by lunchtime. Right now patchy sunlight is highlighting the bare branches of the pear tree, and little birds are flitting about looking for a feed. The blue-leafed Risdon Peppermint gums are swaying about, and the wind makes me glad I am inside for the day! Today it's time to get ready for Patreon uploads. I have yet to get the colour swatches ready, but I did find a trypdich of small oil paintings while I was cleaning out the art cupboard. I have a new B&W drawing to upload for your colouring-in pleasure too. Stay warm everyone!

The last week of each month sees my painting desk pretty full, making a range of Tarot cards for the Patreon page of Cary J Lenehan, my spouse and author of the Vaast series. So with that, and my pottery work, I keep pretty busy. Speaking of which, I am glad to say my Patreon page for paintings is loaded again for the coming month. :)
