UPDATE: Shepparton Festival has been cancelled, and therefore, our performance of Ovariacting: A Period Drama Festival has been too.

Thank you to the event organisers for taking such swift and decisive action. Even though this wasn’t an easy decision, it was definitely the right thing to do.

At this time, we fully intend to make it to Shepparton in the future! You can’t get rid of us that easily!

Hopefully we will put out some online content for you all soon, with out takes from our show and other videos.

🩸Introducing our new brown cow stunning Laganja: Ruby James🩸

From her humble beginnings of forcing friends to perform dance routines that she had choreographed for every primary school talent show (yes, she was that girl), it was clear to Ruby, and those around her, that she was destined to entertain. Ruby has performed in ‘Romeo & Juliet’ and ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ in both Melbourne and Prague with the ASC Graduate Players, starred in “The Ex*****on Will Not Be Televised” by Impending Storm Productions and is one half of the fantastically stupid/sexy burlesque duo, Slinky & Kinky Malinki, who will be starring in their returning show “What’s That Smell?” at Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2020. Ruby is currently studying in the full time program at 16th Street Actors Studio and teaches singing at Aria Vocal Academy.

Hello bloody empowered allies! our lil show is holding auditions for our next show and beyond for the role of my uterus, Laganja the uterus. We are after someone with experience in comedy and singing, sassy (the character is inspired by the drag queen Laganja Estranja ), who has good chemistry with the cast, can harmonise and who can do a fierce slt drop (+ move well!). Do you know someone who’d be perfect? tag them/ let me know ! audition is Saturday 1st of Feb and we welcome everyone- trans, intersex, gender fluid, non binary, all ethnicities, races and sexualities to audition! 🩸🩸🩸 thank you to Menstrual Activist protègè Thomas for the incredible artwork!
