TasPop is a not for profit organisation of dedicated volunteers from Tasmania that focuses on running and supporting local activities and communities! TasPop runs many events throughout the year that include hobbies such as gaming (both electronic and table top), cosplay and crafting, Geek Markets, movie screening and community meetups like Cosplay Picnics. The TasPop organisation is also responsi
ble for running Tasmania’s own pop culture festivals known as TasPop North (Launceston) and TasPop South (Hobart). These pop culture festivals are dedicated meetups that feature huge collections of free to play gaming areas, comic and artist workshops, cosplay showcases, screenings, live acts and panels. The festivals are suitable for kids, adults, families, beginners and veteran fans and are an entertaining and informative day out for everyone!
