Andy is an artist, designer and performer. His visual arts practice spanning two decades explores contemporary existence, and how the choices we make inherently effect, respond to, and delineate social evolution. His work utilises post consumer materials to create installations, sculptures and objects. His performances explore religion, liturgy and ritual in a contemporary secular context and how we can come to terms with the rapid changes brought on by industrialisation, globalisation and climate change. Andy’s recent work includes public performance/installations at Taste of Tasmania, Open House Hobart, Kellys Garden, Seafarers Festival, and St Johns Park New Town. This is Andy’s first foray into theatre and he is immensely thankful for the amazing people and organizations supporting this new work.

She has also worked extensively with Sydney based company Erth Physical and Visual and with Hobart based group The Second Echo Ensemble. Bryony has most recently been seen as Jekyll in Loud Mouth Theatre’s Jekyll and Hyde, as Frida Kahlo for Blue Cow’s Frida and Derek, and as Gran in Terrapin’s Red Racing Hood and as the narrator for the TSO’s The Ugly Sound.

The Poseidon Adventure was seeded at the 2018 Tasmania Performs Artist Residency. This 3-day, 2-night event held at the beautiful Tarraleah village provides a supportive, creative environment to test ideas, consider new collaborations and explore cross art form possibilities. Thanks to Julie Waddington and Annette Downs for putting it altogether! Highly recommend checking it out.
