Macabre Theatre Company Macabre Theatre provides arts education and professional productions to the Fraser Coast Region.

For over a decade they have developed and grown the arts industry for local performers in live entertainment. Macabre Theatre Company has already had a rich history here in the Fraser Coast Region. In 2013 starting in the Hervey Bay Great Hall with a production of Peter Pan. In 2016 Macabre made the move to stage musicals in the Brolga Theatre with Grease. In 2020 we launched our next great achievement of Broadway By The Bay, an outdoor open air theatre experience on the Seafront Oval.

The Imagination Library is a charity created by Dolly Parton to allow children all over the world to receive a free book every month from age 0-5! In Australia this has already led to over 2 million books given, since 2013.

This week we say farewell to two amazing legends. Dolly Parton and Tim Curry.
Many would know here at Macabre we have been so fortunate to present both 9 to 5 and The Rocky Horror Show. Both stories teach us beautiful things in very different ways, but always come back to, be yourself, find your people and live a life where you find joy.
We are hoping to share something special in the coming weeks to celebrate these two amazing artists, an opportunity to celebrate the joy that they both created.
