📣 FIGURE COMPETITORS📣
2026 registrations are open for Oceania Supernatural August 30, Ipswich, Queensland, Australia.
As OCB offer less divisions than other federations, our categories allow for more growth and development within a category and between amateur and pros. We also don’t allow category crossovers at the same show. This allows increased consistency in criteria expectations and look for each category especially at the highest pro level (check out our latest Pro World Champions to see the representation of this).
The figure category can be confusing. The posing and judging criteria for ‘figure’ vary greatly across federations. Not all ‘figure’ is the same! That’s why understanding the federations criteria is important as you may fit criteria well in one federation but not another.
The OCB DO NOT offer crossovers in different categories in the same show. We have very specific criteria and look for each category. If you are coming from other federations that do cross overs, it is important you are familiar with our category criteria to make sure you are in the category you can be most competitive.
OCB Figure is SYMMETRY only. 4 quarter turns. This may be called ‘classic figure’ or ‘figure international’ in other natural federations.
Judging hierarchy:
Symmetry: x- frame, very wide lats, sweeping quads and full and balanced leg development, rounded glute development, capped delts
Conditioning: Clearly defined quads, hamstrings, abs and back. Can have striations but not to level of women’s physique. We want separation, deep cuts and good detail between muscle groups.
Size: packed, predominance of muscle, full muscle bellies, no weak areas
Key words: wide, muscular, detailed
Athletes who may suit OCB Figure: classic figure, other federation ‘figure’, fitbody or physique competitors- may need to adjust conditioning. Fitness or sports competitors with predominance of muscle and good x- frame/ v taper.
