Southern 500 Speedway is looking for a few more awesome people to join our Speedway Family!

We currently have the following official positions available:

➡ Sponsorship Coordinator
➡ Canteen Manager
➡ Secretary
➡ General Helpers

No experience needed!

Whether you've been around Speedway for years or you've never volunteered before, we'd love to hear from you. We're always happy to welcome new people into our Speedway family and show you the ropes.

Thank you to Glenelg Shire Council for your support!

Southern 500 Speedway was fortunate to receive funding as part of the Community Grants Program back in May, helping us with pathway improvements, construction works, and lighting upgrades.

We're proud to be one of 40 local not-for-profit groups to receive funding and are extremely grateful for the Council's ongoing support of our community and facilities.

Southern 500 held its Presentation Night over the weekend. It was great to see members and families come together to celebrate another successful season and recognise the achievements of our drivers, officials, volunteers and supporters.

The Southern 500 Speedway Club is pleased to release the 26-27 season calendar. We are looking forward to another great season of action, kicking off with the return of the South Australian Junior Sedan Southern Showdown, followed by the season-headlining Victorian Compact Speedcar Championship on December 19 and the Victorian Standard Saloon Championship on Labour Day weekend. As always, dates and classes are subject to change, so we hope everyone is excited and busy getting their cars ready, as it comes around quickly.
