Hi there, an update on my splash back. I finally finished laying and grouting on the weekend. I am so, so, happy with the result. Six months in the making but well worth the time effort and patience. There are two small things left to do and that is sealing the grout and silicone around the edges.

Finally finished putting the clock mechanism on it and hung it today, proudly in my kitchen. I made it 10years ago and had moved twice by then so it was packed away. Check out the writing on it. I’m so happy with it. A combination of pottery and mosaic.

I have been working on my splash back tiles and would like to share them with you. I laid them out on the bench to work out where to place them. I'm really pleased with the results so far. Still have more to fire and make. I'll post them when they are all ready to be put on the wall. I will eventually record all the processes to give you an idea what is involved.
