👑 MEET DAVID LAZARO AS SULTAN GRATURKO OF MINDANAO ⚔️

A fierce ruler. A devoted father. A man whose pride could lead his kingdom to war.

As Sultan Graturko, David Lazaro brings to life a powerful leader who places family honour above all. Behind his fury lies a deep love for his daughter, Princess Miramar—a love that will test his understanding of strength, sacrifice and mercy.

For David, MORO MORO is also a story of personal courage. Stepping into theatre without formal training in acting, singing or dance, he is fulfilling a long-held dream to explore performance—with enthusiasm, humility and a determination to grow.

A Registered Nurse turned business owner and academy operator at Gracie Barra Blacktown City, David has dedicated himself to supporting and empowering others. As a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, he brings discipline and resilience to the stage, alongside the compassion and commitment to service that have shaped his life.

His journey reminds us that it is never too late to embrace a new challenge and pursue a dream. ❤️

Watch David command the stage as Sultan Graturko in MORO MORO — The Musical!

👑 MEET THE KING OF LUZON — KING FILIPO
Played by Ronald “Baldo” Navarro

A king determined to protect his kingdom. A father learning the cost of his choices.

As his health fails, King Filipo clings to honour, tradition and the survival of his dynasty. Beneath his commanding presence lies a fear of seeing everything he has built collapse. His decisions ignite conflict—but can he find the courage to choose mercy over pride?

Bringing this complex monarch to life is Ronald “Baldo” Navarro, known to many as “Birit King Baldo” after winning the singing competition on Eat Bulaga. A seasoned singer and musician, Baldo’s career spans gospel and secular albums, commercial jingles for brands and agencies including Magnolia and SSS, and performances in the Philippines and overseas.

For more than 20 years, he and his wife have shared the stage as band vocalists. Now calling Australia home, this proud father of two musical children continues to bring people together through music. 🎶

Witness Baldo bring power, vulnerability and heart to the throne in MORO MORO Musical. 🎭
