GUERILLA is a weekly free stand-up comedy night at The Resistance Cafe in Hawthorn.

Come pull up a beanbag, order a sh**ha, and enjoy the acts.
7:30pm start, come down and grab a beer and a burger! GUERILLA is the friendliest, most laid-back comedy room in Melbourne, featuring some of the country's best up-and-comers each week followed by an open mic bracket.

Was a fabulous way to say goodbye to Guerilla. A hot full room, huge laughs, surrounded by friends and allies, so much love. It’s been an extraordinary journey over the past 8 years and couldn’t be done without the support of the Resistance and staff, Thankyou so much. The comedians were excellent always and the audience was always up for it. Special thanks to Matt Young and Hamish Patterson for starting the room and to my right hand men who helped me continue the room. Jordy Mitchell, Dan Kappa, Hayden Meggins and Hugh Roberson. Announcement.
With great sadness, Guerilla Comedy is no longer. We’ve had a fabulous run for 8 years but nothing lasts forever. The Resistance is relocating and we are still deliberating as to where comedy may or may not fit in moving forward.
We will do a final show on the 23/8 and all are welcome to come down and say goodbye and reminisce.
Thankyou to everyone who helped make this a wonderful comedy scene and we hope to see you all again.
