Hiya Swing Patrol Hawthorn!
We're back to our regular jazz swing dance program after the public holiday.
Hope you had a good break :)

This month we continue with the amazing Monica McNabb - former regular Swing Patrol Teacher in Frankston, dancing in multiple troupes. It is great to have her join us again at Hawthorn.

Level 1 - 6:45pm beginners - side by side charleston. Fun style, cool rhythms! Great for newer dancers. We're building on the fundamentals! Join anytime.

Level 2 - 8pm intermediate. We'll be exploring some moves with the right hand connection for leads and how follows can influence the shapes from this position. More great content to explore in your social dancing

Good afternoon Swing Patrol Hawthorn!
It's June and what better way to warm up than get into swing dancing to great jazz tunes.

Good evening Swing Patrol Hawthorn!

It is the iconic swing dancer Frankie Manning's birthday this Tuesday. So to finish the classes in May we continue our swingtastic Mondays with Sasha and Ernie!
We will have some frankie ideas for inspiration in class.

Level 1 - 6:45pm beginners - side by side charleston. Join us in this new rhythm - great fun to dance to! We will break down the rhythm each week.

Level 2 - 8pm intermediate. mixing 6 and 8 counts and frankie ideas.
We will have a fun sequence to try out :)
