'MARRIAGE TO THE MOB' CHARACTERS
Tony Belloni, ‘businessman’ and Mafia don, is played by Ken Bronilow. Tony heads the family firm, ‘Belloni Concretes’, a front for the family’s underworld gangster organisation with interests in bootlegging, money laundering and contract killing. Opposite him, Melissa Docker plays Isabella Belloni, Tony’s new bride. They have married just a month after the death of Tony’s late wife. Bella was a dancer in Tony’s nightclubs until Tony made her an offer she couldn’t refuse…
Paul Newton is Franki ‘the Face’ Sardini, Tony’s closest friend, bodyguard and right-hand man. Franky is a hitman and has designs not only on taking over the family firm, but more besides. As Margo Marconi, Maudie Green portrays a cop who has a previous history with the Belloni organisation and Tony in particular. Although outwardly friendly with him, she also has her own agenda. Mountain Murder Mysteries create their shows from structured storylines or scenarios that include obligatory ‘red herrings'. The material is developed in rehearsal and scripted so that with ad-libbing on the night, the result is a truly collaborative effort. All the actors are based in the Blue Mountains and are experienced performers. LAIR OF THE WEREWOLF
We are in the 1920S. The story involves a film director and his cast rehearsing the making of a silent horror movie, 'LAIR OF THE WEREWOLF', in which the ghost of a dead actor also makes his presence known. The stars are temperamental and competitive and relationships become strained. This soon leads to foul play, manipulation, mistaken identity, jealousy, greed, and much, much worse...
LAIR OF THE WEREWOLF CHARACTERS
Emma Smith, played by Melissa Docker is an English cockney desperate to be a real actress and willing to do almost anything to achieve her goal. During the course of the drama she doggedly tries to make her way from film stand-in and understudy to ‘star’. As Natasha Bo***ir, the leading lady of Lair of the Werewolf is a French film actress long past her prime, who still behaves and expects to be treated as a star. Nick O’Lightly is a shady Irish business man and B grade film director attempting against the odds to complete his latest horror movie Lair of the Werewolf. Richard Bottomly –Smythe is a vain and self satisfied English twit who regards himself as a great actor and film star. THE MURDER MYSTERY COMPANY
Mountain Murder Mysteries create their shows from structured storylines and scenarios that include obligatory ‘red herrings'. The company was formed in 2010 by Melissa Docker, who writes, directs and produces. Melissa has acted in film, television, radio and stage in Australia and England and has worked for ABC and BBC television and radio. She played on-going guest roles in A Country Practice and Sons and Daughters and began writing and directing plays whilst working as a stage actress in London.
