✨ The stage is set. The costumes are packed. Dance Week is finally here! ✨

Tomorrow we launch the Dance Section of the 62nd Hamilton Eisteddfod, with six exciting days of competition celebrating the talent, dedication and artistry of dancers from across Victoria and beyond.

🌟Morning Session – 6 Years & Under 8 classical ballet, theatrical, contemporary, lyrical, character, jazz and neo classical Solos
🌟Afternoon Session – 8 Years & Under 10 Classical ballet, Theatrical, Lyrical & Character Solos
🌟Evening Session – 10 years & under 12 Duos/trios, as well as 8 years & under 10 classical, song & dance, contemporary and jazz Solos

From tiny first-time performers taking their first steps on stage to more experienced dancers showcasing years of training, Day 1 promises to be full of energy, excitement and unforgettable performances.

And this is only the beginning! Over the coming week we'll see of dancers of all ages take to the stage across a wide range of styles including Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Neo Classical, Tap, Hip Hop, Song & Dance and Troupes.

We can't wait to welcome competitors, families and audiences to the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre for what promises to be a spectacular week of dance.

🎬✨ TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT! ✨🎬

The curtain is about to rise on the inaugural Hamilton Eisteddfod Film Festival, and you won't want to miss it!

Join us from 6:30pm tonight as we celebrate the creativity, imagination and storytelling talents of filmmakers from across the region. From primary students taking their very first steps behind the camera to secondary and open-age entrants, tonight's screenings showcase original films created around this year's festival theme.

Will the gold medals stay in Hamilton? Could a Cavendish filmmaker take home the honours? There's only one way to find out!

This month we have comedy, puppetry and music!

June 16 & 17 - 🐬IMAGINE LIVE - “It’s about animals!”…"It's about Imagination!”…“It’s about our Home!" Based on the much loved children's book by Alison Lester. IMAGINE LIVE is a celebration on creativity, friendship and our precious natural world.

June 18 - 🤣LUKE KIDGELL - GOOD INTENTIONS - Known for his viral crowd-work interactions that lead to some fairly unusual, yet hilarious encounters. You've seen him on the internet, now it's time to see him in real life!

June 20 - 🦅THE EAGLES GREATEST HITS - Joins us as we celebrate The Eagles Greatest Hits live. Catch the songs that defined an era, Take It To The Limit, Desperado, Lying Eyes and the world famous Hotel California.

June 29 -🐊SPIKE THE ECHIDNA - Start off the school holidays with story of Spike the Echidna. Told with shadow theatre, Spike is an interactive experience for the audience. All tickets $5
