NATIONALS HERE WE COME!!!

We are so happy to announce that Bling Performing Arts will be competing 9 troupe routines at Showcase National Dance Championships in January 2027!!! SHOWCASE Australian Dance

After months of hard work, sweat and teamwork, all of our troupes qualified at Platinum Dance Competition and we are so grateful for the opportunity to give our students the chance to shine on the Nationals stage. A huge thank you to Platinum for your incredible organisation and support on competition day and also thank you to Winter Dance Festival where 4 of troupes qualified again! It is always so special to perform and support our local dance eisteddfods xx PLATINUM DANCE COMPETITION

To say that we are proud is an understatement and a huge congratulations to all of our students who represent Bling Performing Arts.Thank you to our parents and families as well for their support, we are forever grateful🧡

🌟 STARS OF NEWCASTLE 🌟

We are so excited that our studio owner, Miss Hannah, is once again taking part in the Cancer Council’s Stars of Newcastle! 💛

For the second time, Miss Hannah will be stepping into the role of dance coach, this year working with her wonderful Star, Christine! Together they’ll be bringing a fabulous Musical Comedy routine to the stage, full of personality, entertainment and plenty of laughs! 🎭💃

This incredible cause is particularly close to our hearts at Bling, with our beautiful Miss Toni, having fought her own battle with cancer. She is an absolute warrior, making the opportunity to support the Cancer Council and those impacted by cancer even more meaningful to us. 💛

We can’t wait to see Christine & Miss Hannah hit the stage — it’s going to be a fabulous performance! 🌟

💛 Donations are greatly appreciated, with every contribution helping Cancer Council continue their incredible work.

We are so proud of all of our students who received their LGTDA Tap Exam results. Every student was pleased with their results and had the biggest smiles on their faces as you can see.

You have all worked so hard and every student has another badge, or their first badge for our Mini Boppers to add to their collection. A first tap exam is a huge achievement and it’s one we hope our little ones never forget🧡

WORLD DANCE MOVEMENT🌎🧡🇦🇺

We are beyond grateful for the opportunity that showcase provided Nicholas with as he represented Australia as the Senior Australian Dancer of the Year 2026 at the World Dance Movement in Italy.

Watching Nicholas perform on stage during the International Dance Competition and the Gala Evening was an incredible sight to see. He showed his dedication and commitment in his workshops which he was rewarded with amazing opportunities around the world.

50% tuition scholarship to Joffrey Ballet Jazz and Contemporary 2 week intensive in New York City

100% month scholarship to Art Village Professional Dance Courses and Private Auditions in Rome Italy

Thank you so much to the choreographers that Nic had the opportunity to work with throughout this week, Bruno Collinet .collinet.officiel and Fabrizio Prolliki . Nic was so thrilled to learn from both of you and he will be able to take on the feedback you have given him into his career.

From early morning breakfasts, hot days walking in the sun, lots of gelato, a special visit from Mr Max and of course many hours of dancing this is a trip that Nic will never forget and we can’t wait to see him take his career to the next level🧡⭐️

OOH LA LA EXTRAVAGANZA PORT MACQUARIE RESULTS⭐️

Over the weekend 4 of our wonderful students travelled to Port Macquarie to attend Ooh La La Dance Extravaganza in Port Macquarie. They all performed beautifully and we are so proud of their efforts!

A special mention to one of our gorgeous seniors Amelia who competed for the first time as a soloist since her knee surgery earlier this year and she was wonderful! We are so proud of you and you have showed your determination throughout your recovery to get back on stage doing what you love xx

WORLD DANCE MOVEMENT⭐️

Nic you are absolutely incredible, to say that we are proud is an understatement. The growth in your dancing throughout the years is something to reflect on and remember that every performance is an opportunity to perform and share your passion.

That is what we witnessed at the world dance movement. We saw a performer, not a dancer, but a performer. A performer is someone who tells a story, demonstrates control in their technique, shows versatility and discipline but most of all passion and love for what they do.

Every time you stepped on stage you performed and we hope this experience sticks with you as the moment you represented Australia on the international stage.
