GrampianArts Market Place Traders will be open to all from Friday 14 March 4pm - 6pm & Saturday 15 – Wednesday 19 March 8am-5pm and Thursday 20 March from 8am-12noon:

We have a great selection of traders who will be at our GrampianArts Market Place throughout the week!

Alan’s Sharpening Services – for your scissors/knives (only available for Sunday/Monday collection – you’ll need to drop off Friday–Sunday & early Monday morning – ready for collection Sunday/Monday).

Beautiful Silks – Only trading on the weekend and Monday morning!

Can Do Books – Books !

Mahdi Chandler – Hand dyed threads, yarn, ribbon, lace and rope suitable for stitching, weaving, knotting, basketry and more – Cotton, Linen, Silk, Rayon and blends Cotton gauze dyed and undyed. My favourite needles chenille, tapestry, long darners, beading etc big holes sharp points. Dyed and undyed “Treasures” from my studio – including cloth, machine threads, buttons and more. Also other dyed, printed or collaged items aprons, scarves, pots, baskets, journals, and notebooks.

DAIRING – Mulberry, Lokta and a new range of printed paper, large selection of fabrics and undyed garments, selection of yarns, cotton and wool/silk dyes, wire, pattern paper and patterns – Plus more. If there is anything specific you need from our website (www.dairing.com.au) please email Stephen at [email protected] as we are limited to how much we can bring.

FIBREWORKS – wool yarn, knitting accessories, beautiful vintage kimonos, hand dyed fabrics, garments, shawls and wraps, and some hand dyed fibre - silk caps, silk tops, cotton etc.

TEXTILE ALL SORTS – lots of thread, wool, lace, doilies and tablelcoth, blanket pieces, yo yos, beads, silk fabric, linen pieces, vintage cotton, patchwork pieces, tapestry wool, secondhand books, old textile magazines, needles, sewing thread plus more...

I will have hand-dyed lengths of both varieties and a small selection of undyed fabrics. Small selection of commercial pre-felts (pre-packaged) Various natural fibres (undyded), including: cotton nepps, egyptian cotton tops, ramie tops, and more - all pre-packaged Great secondhand Art & Fibre Art Books (I am culling my vast collection....) Call into Hall Gap Community Hub to buy at GrampianArts Market Place 8 am—5 pm. Saturday 19—Wednesday 23 March. Expect to find delicious products for textile and other artists to create with: fibre, yarns, books, fabrics, hand-made papers, vintage kimonos. Exotic, beautiful, unusual, and delightful. Not all traders/sellers will be there for the whole time, but all will be there for the weekend and Monday morning.

See the wonderful collection of Japanese textiles from Kimono House: Kimono House store sells a range of contemporary & traditional Japanese textiles - the 100% cotton cloth and threads are suitable for clothing, quilting, stitching and craft.
