My name is Susanne, aka GROOVY Suse — and I’m a certified Advanced Facilitator of the GROOVE Method. 💃✨

And one of our GROOVE truths is:

NO ONE CARES WHAT WE LOOK LIKE! And trust me… we practise that one on the dance floor. 😂

At GROOVE, there’s no judgement. No pressure to look cool. No need to get it “right”.
Your way is the right way.

I want you to move YOUR way. Be funny. Be awkward. Be wild. Be dramatic. Be YOU. Embody whatever you’re feeling in that moment.
I give you simple movements and rhythms that unite us on the dance floor — but within those movements, we celebrate our uniqueness.

Because we’re not here to all look the same.
We’re here to move together while having the freedom to be completely ourselves.

So… ⚠️ WARNING: if you follow me, I might not only keep reminding you to show up on the GROOVE dance floor… I might also keep showing you what it looks like to stop worrying about what other people think and just BE YOU. 🥳

GYMPIE… what if self-care looked like THIS? 💃🪩🕺
For me, self-care isn’t always about slowing down.
Sometimes it’s about turning the music UP. 🎶
Moving my body.
Moving authentically.
Laughing. Being silly. Feeling free.
Connecting with other people.
And creating a little more JOY in my week.

That’s what our first night at the Gympie Senior Citizens Centre felt like.
Cool lights. Great music. A beautiful timber floor. And a room full of people moving in their own unique way.

Because GROOVE isn’t about getting the steps “right”. It’s about moving YOUR way, connecting with others and giving yourself an hour where you can simply move, play and feel good.

For me, GROOVE really is the most creative workout for your body, mind, heart and soul. 💜

And yes… we may have turned the Senior Citizens Centre into a little nightclub. 😂🪩
