🌟 Yesterday, while we were hanging paintings, a lovely lady and her children stopped to check on us. She asked if we were being looked after, and when I mentioned it was a big job, she wanted to know what we needed.
🛒 Next thing we knew, she was back with bottled water, fruit, chocolate and other treats for our volunteers. By the time I thought to take a photo, everything had already been opened — turns out we move very quickly when snacks appear.
🤗 I didn’t get her name, but she gave me a big hug, left the goodies with us, and absolutely made our day. Whoever you are, your kindness was so appreciated — our little guardian angel in the middle of the chaos.
💛 Our Arts & Crafts team has put in around 150 hours combined this week to bring you a pavilion that looks fantastic for the Gympie Show next weekend. Yesterday the pavilion was buzzing with volunteers — judging, hanging, displaying and getting everything ready for our community.
🎨 It’s a massive job, but seeing it all come together makes every hour worth it.
