All the babies are home to be trained 😇

Before our wieners head out to pasture, we bring them home for some low stress stock handling to make sure they’re calm, confident and have the temperament we’re looking for.

Fresh, clean water is a must throughout the process… although with this lot, it certainly doesn’t last long💧

Whether you’re following along online, stopping by the markets or putting Barambah Creek Beef on your dinner table, you’re a part of what we do. So here’s a little look at what we’ve been up to lately 📋

We’ve spent time learning more about our soil, carbon and how we can continue to improve the land we graze. The Bonnie Doon Field Day was a great reminder of how much you can learn by getting together with other producers, sharing ideas and learning from one another.

We’ve loved seeing familiar faces Kawana Farmers Market every Saturday and Noosa Farmers Market every second Sunday. Having customers come back, have a chat and know where their beef comes from is something we really value. You’re a big part of why we love what we do.

We’ve brought the mums in for weaning, Molly competed at the ICMJ National Conference in Wagga Wagga and came home with a heap of new knowledge about the red meat industry, and we’ve spent more time looking at our own soil and where we can improve.

We’ve also welcomed two new team members, Maggie and Rodney, eaten plenty of beef, and Damien still refuses to go anywhere without Ray (The most spoilt member of the family).

Producing beef is always a work in progress, but we’re enjoying the process and everything that comes with it 💚💚

In a world where it’s hard to come by food that isn’t packed with preservatives and nasty chemicals, it’s pretty cool to be able to get this reaction from 100% grass fed and finished beef!!

It’s so good to talk to more and more customers like these lovely ladies and share each other’s knowledge on the topic of what we are putting into our bodies 💪

Nutrient density is just as important as your macro’s if not more!
