Went out sketching at West End with the Brisbane Urban Sketchers last weekend, led by Tomas Ferdinand Uribe. Haven’t quite made the mental transition from the country yet, but working on it! 👩‍🎨🎨❤️

Just to let you know (for those that don’t)- I have moved to Brisbane. Much as I hated to leave Gympie, it was time.

Out plein air painting in Memorial Park again this week. I met quite a few nice people who stopped by to chat. Among them was an internationally renowned artist Des Spencer whom it was an absolute pleasure to meet. I also had an emerging author sitting with me working on her novel.
I’ll finish this painting off in the studio.

“Stop!” Oil on board, 30x23cm This is the completed painting from my last weeks’ outing in the park. Painted almost completely plein air with a couple of small details touched up in the studio. I like it - what do you think?
