Michael Fitch is one of Australia's best known and most respected artists. Born in Melbourne, he has been living in the Adelaide Plains since 2017 moving from Gundaroo NSW near the ACT where he painted and lived for 16 years. Michael has traveled the Australian continent extensively and lived in the 1990s in Germany. Many of his outdoor commissions are on display all over Australia. Michael was c

ommissioned to undertake several major public works in Cologne, Germany. He says the time in Europe exposed him to the power and passion of the French impressionists, an influence very much seen in his work. Michael Fitch takes commissions for paintings and murals from photos, on-site or imagination.
