The Fashions info you’ve all been waiting for !

Our Fashions on the Field competition is always hotly contested and 2026 will be no different. Our prize pool is already over $9,000 still with 4 weeks to go.

Judging times will be a little different this year with the first categories kicking off after Race 2. These categories will be

Best Dress Filly and C**t
Best Dressed Teen Female and Male
Well Suited Man

Followed by the Ladies categories after Race 3

Lady of the Day 18-45 yrs
Classic Lady of the Day 45+ years

Our judges will also be roaming throughout the afternoon with on the spot prizes.

Gav just simply could not handle the stress of anyone missing out on a Party Central Umbrella so after some shuffling here, some shuffling there and many phone calls he has found 10 more!!

These extras will be added to the website tomorrow but be quick because this is it. Not only have we cleaned out Echuca but Bendigo as well and there simply is no more white umbrellas and you know we simply cannot do any other colour. This is it !

Here’s what you get - 2 course luncheon served by Gunbower District Development Group in our Big Green Shed access to a bar and tvs to catch all the action. For the quieter crowd who like a table to sit at, home cooked meal and a quiet bar. Just a very short stroll to the betting ring and finishing line. Tea and coffee making facilities.

Lunch served from 12-2pm.

Isla called in to see Baz and the crew from Cohuna Car Sales. Baz sold us our very first brand new tractor this year and lends us a UTV to help take the load off our weary feet during races week. This in kind support is what makes our partnerships so wonderful. Thanks Baz and crew!
