I’ve barely made anything in 2026. Last year was just so busy with moving and life, I just haven’t been very inspired.
But. I’ve got a woodfiring in September, and the time off has really helped my creative brain wander and now I’m re energised for some new things!!
I thought to help make me accountable I’d try and post the process of filling these empty shelves before September. I need to make a few milk crates worth of pots, I’ve got some ideas and no doubt along the way I’ll change my mind a bunch of times.
Yesterday I started off by trying kurinuki, a technique I’ve been wanting to try for a long time! And this little porcelain piece is the first of this woodfired series.
