•I S P Y• with my little eye… a new tray filler! Specifically for the older loves (3+) these gloriously pastel Aussie grown chickpeas make the most interactive tray filler come loose parts play. Great for fine motor skills as little fingers pick up individual items or just scoop and fill and tip and repeat. The chickpeas are non toxic but not taste safe due to the risk of choking. As always, close adult supervision is essential when your child is engaging in sensory play.

Tonight, as I was experimenting with some new tray fillers for older kids, coloured chickpeas running through my fingers, I found myself with a smile on my face. And in that moment I realised my wish for you. As you watch your little ones play and learn, my wish for you is to reconnect with your inner child, feel invited into the magic and feel a sense of unadulterated joy. My wish for you is that through messy, unstructured play you have endless, flowing conversations with your little people, that you deepen your bond with them and learn more about each other. My wish for you is that your imaginations run away with the time and that you can abandon the need to rush or to fill your day with busyness. My wish for you is that you make fun, messy memories with the small people in your life and you find a smile creeping across your face only to discover it has made its way into your heart.
