Pleasantly surprised with how well my lighting design translated to film, obviously with a lot of help with the expertise of but it's still nice to see. The film grain does make me think burlesque cryptids which is pretty cool too. Been nice to take the limiters off and have the level of creative freedom that allows!

Our run of Burlesque with has been lovely so far! Been great catching up with and making new friends with .bliss and .roxie_ !

It's been a crazy run of a wide variety of projects over the past several months so there's something so nice about coming back home to variety-style burlesque lighting, it's really so centring to me in a way that I hadn't really realised until this week. So much love to 📷 and for the trust to let me bring my unique style to their show in an unfiltered way that I only get to do occasionally, it's really so refreshing.

I'm late to this new year's thing, mostly because I didn't stop (flew back home from the last 2025 gig at 9pm on the 31st). I say this with love but last year was the best kind of fu***ng exhausting, truly. The seeds sown for touring work from 23/24 started sprouting and then even more touring work popped up from , the classics with and .toxic and trying to maintain the local classics with and and plenty of design things, so thankful. Never mind working with a huge swath of the top burlesque performers in the world for , I couldn't be more thankful. I really felt like I came into my own this last year creatively, with a stronger voice, less compromising on the things that I find valuable about the arts and my place as a technically-bent artist working with new and old friends. Not remotely possible without the support and direct help from keeping the logistics afloat freeing me up to do the cool blinky thing all the more. This year somehow looks more hectic with the national and international touring so all I can say is thankyou and bear with me and my long lead times, and so stoked to have so many freelance techs I can trust ❤️

Not a hot take by any means, but genuinely is one of the most amazing burlesque performers I've ever had the privilege to work with, and such a brilliant person to work with and travel with, you'll make me an extrovert traveller yet ;) the interplay between the lighting and the choreography hitting every little bit in this track was such a joy to watch every night (and again I'm sure!)

Got caught up so never posted about this but certainly raved to enough people about this act. Thanks for letting me stretch out all the extra strobe buttons for this act, there were parts it genuinely felt like the inside of the cargo hold at the end of the first movie :D

Been nice to keep on keeping on with Ball, even with some fixture changes (and one more big change hopefully to come for the year), much appreciate the trust from the Bombshell crew, and the teamwork in occasionally keeping happy with the moody choices ;)

photo time, I think. Pretty happy with how the rig turned out, considering its fully footlight we did get it looking pretty theatrical while still being deeply, deeply unapologetic in terms of the face-melting goal. Cult has always been a chance to play and experiment and I appreciate the trust in doing so and it's lent itself to some good work over the last few years! Much thanks to all the cast, crew and the family .maraschino.burlesque and to for the assist and extra gear. Also thanks to for the photography too, pulled some magic with that contrast ratio hahaha.

Realise I said there were so many photos from and then I.... didn't post anything else. So many brilliant acts and I got some plans to change the rig a little bit for next year now as well...

Literally spent the last ten minutes trying to find a photo from that seems vaguely postable, to get the full experience you've really got to come along... fortunately October 10th (the Halloween edition) is coming along shortly. We've got some lovely new production design on the way too, Cult's lighting design is a moving breathing animal these days but it's nice to have the opportunity to change and experiment things.
