Thanks again to everyone in the Banyule arts community who made the last 5 years so incredible. We won’t be closing this account as we want to keep the memories alive. Ah yes. We have moved out of the Greensborough swamp. And here we are in sunny in East Brunswick. What a breath of fresh air. No more floods, bits of concrete falling from the roof, collapsing mezzanines or construction sites next door. Only sunlight and a beautiful community of artists and creative people. Will definitely miss the community though. Hope to see all of you around here in a the near future.

Phew. Sanctum Studio has moved out of the factory where it was based for 5 years, on Para Rd in Greensborough. In the time we were there we discovered a fantastic community. Thankyou so much to all the resident artists over the years, .au Also to all the artists who exhibited with us last year, .page.58173 Also thanks so much to for supporting us through this season of exhibitions and for providing such an amazing service to the local arts community, as well as all the amazing artists we met through BOS. And finally thanks to for being an amazing support to our ventures since we’ve been based here.

But on the bright side we will no longer have to deal with flood waters - it flooded 7 times last year. Not to mention the structural issues and the blocks of concrete that periodically fell from the roof. Stay tuned for for updates on the future, as we ride off into the sunset.

Posted • Visited the awesome today and found out both of my paintings have sold 🙌 such a thrill to be part of such a great show, and that 2 collectors have found connection to what I consider my weird, specific and personal work 😂🥰 I'm taking this as 2 votes for staying weird so thank you for your support and encouragement 🤘💞✨️

Posted • Here's the counterpart to my previous post 🌹❤️ she will be up for viewing and purchase at Spring Days, opening at this Saturday. The show is also a fundraiser for Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 💚 and proceeds will be going to some hand-selected charities to help people on the ground 🙏

Sanctum Studio available for short-term lease

Situated near the charming town of Montmorency and the iconic Montsalvat Arts Colony in Eltham, the studio backs onto the Plenty River parklands.

Sanctum Studio has 110m2 footprint available for hire with a 4m high ceiling and road frontage (35,000 cars drive past per day).

Sanctum Studio is ideal for individual artists and collectives. It can be hired as a fully equipped artist’s workshop, or for photo and film shoots, exhibitions, performances, rehearsals, classes and events. Artists looking for a long-term shared studio space are also encouraged to apply.

Sanctum Studio features a large floor space with workbenches, industrial sewing machine, computer and drawing desks, easel and fold out worktables. Additional features include lounge area, meeting area, kitchenette, wet area and toilets.
