FINAL OPENING THIS SUNDAY 10 - 3pm!!

Hello lovely people! We’re sad to announce that our space is being sold and our final day of opening is this Sunday 10 May (Mother's Day). The good news is we’re having a sale; 10% off all art plus free chocolate and entertainment! The Greensborough Main St Market is being held on the same day and "Too Much Fandango" will be gracing the front of the shop with some lovely jazz melodies.

Did you know Common Thread is part of a broader project supported by Renew Australia who help emerging artists activate otherwise vacant spaces? “Space activation” helps build the local economy and revitalise areas that are not thriving. We’ve been delighted to reside on Greensborough’s main strip since Jan 2014 and have enjoyed a fabulous sense of support and recognition from the local community! We discovered that the locals love having an artistic presence in Greensborough and our "Develop Your Creativity" workshops were a success. Whilst this particular pop-up shop space is closing we’re hoping to continue Common Thread elsewhere and are actively seeking new opportunities.

We have some wonderful new artworks on display at Common Thread including pieces by local artists Andrew Galt, Patrick Ryant, Nadine Dudek and Cheryl Rees. We love these vibrant and original pieces.
