I’m opening up a small number of places for Thursday art classes at the studio in Green Point.

It’s a quiet, focused space where you can bring your own project and spend a couple of hours working with your hands, with gentle guidance along the way.

You don’t need to be an “artist”. You might be returning to art after time away, or just needing some space to slow down, think, and make something. I can also help refresh the basics if that’s what you’re looking for.

I keep the group small (max 6), so everyone gets individual support. We usually have some music on in the background and a nice steady flow to the session.

Starting May 2026
Thursdays 10am – 12:30pm
You can begin any Thursday from May onwards, if there’s space

Classes run in 6-week blocks ($290), which helps create a rhythm and real progress over time.

If you’re unsure, you’re very welcome to come for a casual trial session first ($55). If you continue, that comes off the block fee.

No experience needed. Just bring something you’d like to work on.

Last chance to sign up for this weekends create your own golden mended kintsugi plate. We use kintsugi as a metaphor for what’s broken can be rebuilt, never the same but different and still whole and beautiful. We won’t be hosting another plate workshop till late this year.

Every so often, you stumble across a story that stops you completely, a story that hits you right in the chest. That’s exactly what happened when I first came across Raven Heart Art Creative Space

I saw a simple post on a local community page announcing the opening of a new creative art space in Green Point, Central Coast, NSW. As a creative and art lover, I excitedly clicked the link, and then I delved deeper. I watched their interview, read their words… and I felt myself sink into that incredible ache only a parent can understand.

I heard Kyan’s music and saw the global response to Play for Kyan… and it moved me deeply. My daughter at 7, is just learning and loving playing the piano and my eyes welled up. As a mother, an empath, and a lover of art, their story hit hard and then it inspired even harder.

I sat there asking myself:
If this happened to me, would I have the strength to do what Amanda and her husband have done? Could I turn unimaginable pain into something that heals others?
The honest answer is… I don’t know.
Most of us don’t.

What Amanda and her family have built through Raven Heart Art Creative Space is extraordinary. They took unimaginable grief and transformed it into a sanctuary where others can find light, connection and healing through creativity.

That is courage.
That is love.
