Another event done and dusted for 2026 🤠

A big thank you to everyone who came along and enjoyed the afternoon/evening with us. We know rising costs place additional pressures on people when traveling and attending events like ours, so we are very thankful so many of you made the journey again this year.

We will be back again on Good Friday next year, so put the date in your diaries now - Friday, March 26, 2027. She's an early Easter next year!

If you’ve purchased a ticket and have not checked in yet, please come to the entry gate before 7pm. After this you won’t be able to access the event grounds.

2026 PROGRAM 🤠🐮

We couldn’t be more excited on the night before another big event. It’s going to be a fabulous afternoon into the evening and we hope you can join us. A couple of reminders:

🤎 Gates open at 11am, action starts from 3pm.
🤎 Follow signs and directions from traffic personnel to day parking & camping areas. Disabled parking is available near the entry gate, please tell parking personnel when you arrive and they will direct you.
🤎 Bring ID if you’re under the age of 25 years.
🤎 The family area is on the left side of the arena (dry area).
🤎 The band will start once the competition finishes, around 7pm-ish.
🤎 Saturday morning breakfast is available from 7.30am for campers.

Did you know that when you support our event, you're supporting all the players and members of the Great Western Football & Netball Club too?

The rodeo is one of the largest fundraisers for our local grassroots sporting club which is the beating heart of Great Western on any given wintery Saturday. Your ticket goes directly into supporting their season and subsidises many of the club's junior participation programs.

So thank you ❤️💛💙

⛺ CAMPING & CAR PARKING 🚘

If you're staying the night, please venture into the reserve and find a spot at any of the designated camping areas.

Please note - some areas are allocated to caravans and families. This is to ensure caravans have appropriate spaces given some parts of the reserve are not fit for them, and that families can be further away from some of our noiser patrons.

ALL camping visitors must enter via the gate on Garden Gully Road. No access can be provided along Moyston Road or Cemetery Road.

Don't forget about breakfast on Saturday morning from 7.30am at the main function building (cream walls & red roof). If you're coming before Friday or staying afterwards, it's $15 per night and the onsite caretakers will be around to collect this from you.

🚘 CAR PARKING 🚘

Anyone coming for the day will need to park in 1 of 2 areas.

CARK PARK #1: This will be filled first and will likely be at capacity around 2pm. There is an entry gate onto the reserve near the purple camping zone.

CARK PARK #2: This will be filled second and likely the zone you will venture to if you arrive after 2pm. People will need to make a short walk across the road and into the reserve, around 400m.

Please follow the signs and directions provided by the parking volunteers on the day. Don't rush around other vehicles and try to jump ahead of the queue. If the traffic has slowed it has slowed for a reason, please be patient as everyone will get to where they need to be.

Easter is always such an electric time across our shire, particularly for Stawell and surrounds with flagship events such as the Stawell Gift, Great Western Rodeo, Stawell Racing Club's Thomas Foods Stawell Gold Cup and Stawell Lions Club's annual Easter Carnival.

In other news, we are resolving an entry gate issue we encountered last year by having two different entry lanes this year.

🎫 GENERAL ENTRY = For anyone who needs to purchase entry tickets on the day such as participants, their supporters and the general public. Public tickets are dependent on if we sell out prior and will be limited.

We will get everyone into the concourse as quick as we can, so please be patient if you arrive at a time when there is a temporary line up.
