King Island Film Society

King Island Film Society Showings at 7.30pm on 2nd Saturday of the month unless notified otherwise. Occasionally our regular film night may alter to fit in with the football roster.

Memberships are as follows:
Full member for 12 months...$55.00
Pensioners ...$35.00
3 month membership...$15.00
Some of the movies we've had so far this year are ....The Intouchables, The Artist, My week with Marilyn, Water for Elephants, Sky fall and Girl with a Dragon Tattoo. Where possible we try to have SEVERAL NEW RELEASE movies throughout the year that are OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC at a charge of $10.00 per person. At the end of each year, members are asked to submit a list of movie preferences covering all genres which are then voted on enabling us to do up a list for the coming year. The list is a little flexible to take into account any new release movies that may become available throughout the year or if there is a particular film that may come up that is a popular request. We have a growing library of DVD's that are available for members (at no charge) to borrow for viewing at home.
