Our Show Team is an elite team of experienced dancers from both IDC studios, designed for those who consistently demonstrate excellence, commitment, performance quality, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
Our vision for this team is to compete on a national level, perform at conventions + be the face of IDC elite performance.
This is not a development program. Places are limited and will be offered to dancers who are already performing at a high level and are ready to represent IDC at performances, elite events, and exclusive opportunities throughout 2026 & 2027.
Applications will be reviewed by an external industry professional, with selections based on experience, attitude, teamwork, commitment, and overall suitability for the team.
Unlike a weekly commitment, Show Team operates as a school holiday intensive program, with key rehearsals and performance opportunities scheduled around events throughout the year.
The best part? All rehearsals, workshops, industry experiences and performance opportunities are provided at no ongoing cost, giving dancers access to incredible professional opportunities that would otherwise come at a significant expense.
A one-off performance fee of $120 applies to successful applicants to assist with performance and production costs. (Dancers who are already members of an IDC Troupe will NOT required to pay this fee.)
