We are utterly thrilled to have received Recognition of Excellence from Canberra Area Theatre Awards (CAT Awards) for our production of Motherhood the Musical at The Lieder Theatre in March 2021.
Staging a production during the COVID-19 pandemic was a challenging whirlwind, but we were unbelievably lucky and so blessed to have been able to push through with minimal interruptions due to lockdowns or restrictions.
Huge heartfelt congratulations goes out to the entire cast, band, crew and production team of Motherhood the Musical for the mammoth effort that went into creating and staging this incredible production. This recognition is so well deserved. We did it, girls.

We'd like to give a massive shout out to Kody Lewis who so kindly helped some of our ladies GO PINK a few weekends ago. Kody is always rocking an amazing head of brightly coloured hair, so we knew she was the perfect person to ask to help us out!
Thank you Kody for so generously giving up your time to help us GO PINK to raise funds for breast cancer research! You're a star! ⭐

Some of our incredible ladies have pledged to GO PINK to raise funds for breast cancer research.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. Almost 20,000 women and men will be diagnosed this year. That’s 53 Australians every single day. Since NBCF’s inception in 1994, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 76% to 91%. It’s proof that their strategy of investing in world-class research is working. However 8 women still lose their lives from breast cancer each day – mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and friends.

Please consider making even a small donation to help the National Breast Cancer Foundation reach their goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Every little bit helps. 💕

We've made a pledge to GO PINK and WEAR IT, SHAVE IT or COLOUR IT to raise funds to support game-changing breast cancer research into early detection and preventative treatments, which is vital to increasing survival rates. Take a look, donate today!

The very last of our Motherhood shenanigans (for now, at least)... returning the hospital bed to its rightful home! Thank you Bourke Street Health Service for trusting us to take good care of this beauty for the past few months - she’s served us well (and helped us deliver Amy’s baby over a dozen times)!

This is a normal statement. Whether you're telling your child, your boss, your friends or your partner.

It's sad that some of us still feel uncomfortable to say that we're on our period out of fear of shame and judgment.

Imagine a world where you could confidently let someone know that you need a day off work due to your period, or you need your child to stop throwing tantrums at least on these five days a month (we wish, right 😅), or even that you need some extra space during the first couple of days of your period due to pain.

If we end period stigma, we can have these open and honest conversations with people in our lives ❤️

Help us work towards breaking down the taboo surrounding periods by filling out our survey so we can gain data on what it means to menstruate: https://www.sharethedignity.org.au/period-pride
