We're aiming at creating a community hub for poets to share their work, and information about relevant events in the area. I believe it is the way we see and experience the world that makes us poets, not so much what we write (or don’t write). A true poet sees poetry in the unlikeliest of places. Let’s nurture our poetic response: a natural, therapeutic and artistic way of reacting to the world, processing our experience of it, and having this experience recognised and validated. Calling all poets and poetry lovers. We have a treat for you. A celebration to help kick off the year. The Sydney launch of FALLEN by Audrey Molloy. This Balmain event will be hosted by Dan Jordan of Roaring Stories fame, while poetry great, Judith Beveridge, will help unravel the rich threads that weave the poems together to reveal their magic.
