Uniting Productions CC UP seeks to encourage and develop Community Theatre on the NSW Central Coast through Play Readings,

Uniting Productions was formed in 2009 to rehearse a production of Mass Appeal in association with the Central Coast Multi Arts Confederation. Our first production was Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddleduck by Beatrix Potter directed by Margaret McGowan. The group then followed this production with a weekly educational theatre programme. Over the years UP has successfully performed a number of plays w

ritten by local writers as well as other productions for both children and adults. UP seeks to encourage and develop Community Theatre on the NSW Central Coast through Play Readings, Production and Promotion of works by local playwrights and performed by local actors. This initiative of the Gosford Uniting Church holds rehearsed play readings between productions. Up currently holds regular Writers' Workshops each month to support and encourage local writers. If you're looking for something fun to do on Saturday afternoon, come along to our play readings. There is a Q & A after each performance and constructive feedback from audience members is welcome. Mary's play readings are back! This Saturday afternoon (2pm - 5pm) we will be presenting three original short plays and a short story. Admission is free. Tea, coffee and biscuits by gold coin donation. 😁

Great rehearsal last night. Interesting to see how much a one act play can challenge our perception of what is possible in relationships and social issues.

Each of these plays shows us an insight into the reality of where we could be in the future, have already been or perhaps are already there as each play takes on the emotional journey of each character.

Only 2 performances this Saturday. The photos show the cast (missing is John Czerniecki) John features in 'Allocateeism' and 'The Monologue'
