35 years ago, I started a little dance school… never imagining where that journey would take me.💃❤️
Blue Suede Shoes became so much more than a business. It became a family, a community and such a huge part of my life.
When the time came for Michael and me to begin our new chapter in Italy, one of the biggest things on my heart was who would carry BSS forward.
I didn’t just want someone who could run a dance school.
I wanted people who were passionate.
A little crazy 😂
Full of fun.
People who genuinely loved dance and, most importantly, loved bringing joy to others.
A*z & Zoe… you ticked every box. ✅
Do you think I chose well?
Watching you both take the reins and put your own heart into the school makes me incredibly proud. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to carry BSS into its next chapter.
And to everyone in our BSS family — past and present — thank you. ❤️
You were part of 35 extraordinary years of my life. The friendships, competitions, performances, road trips, laughs, nerves, costumes, late nights and memories… I wouldn’t change a thing.
The greatest feeling is knowing that while my chapter in Oz has ended, the dancing hasn’t.
The music is still playing.
The floor is still full.
And BSS is in wonderful hands.
Keep dancing, keep laughing and keep being just a little bit crazy. 💃🕺😂
