We explored warm and cool colours, tracing bold outlines and layering bright watercolours to create a vibrant, colourful artwork. We had fun experimenting with colour blending and contrasting hues to make the hand stand out against the warm, swirling background.

🌊🐟 Our young artists explored the movement of the ocean through swirling waves and vibrant colours. Using layers of blues, turquoise and white, they created a sense of flowing water and crashing waves. Each colourful fish swims through its own underwater world, full of life and energy. 🎨💙

These stingrays from our holiday class art turned out absolutely amazing! 🩵🐠 Just look at all the incredible detail in each one! From the gorgeous patterns, tiny hearts, flowers and stars to the beautiful mix of colours and textures in the background, every piece is so unique and full of personality. 💙🌊

The kids had fun exploring spring colours and textures using soft pastels and different pieces of paper. They created their own little spring scenes with grass, flowers, birds and colourful birdhouses. It was a lovely way for them to get creative and experiment with different colours and materials.

So excited for this art lesson, the kids used recycled egg cartons to create raised 3D fox or mouse faces. They painted and decorated their chosen animal, then used paint pens to design colourful outfits and expressive details, so cool. Each character was mounted onto cardboard and finished with a bright, decorative background, creating unique and playful 3D animal artworks.

Using pastels students built up expressive lines and layered warm brown tones to create the hedgehog’s shape, spines and texture. They explored how repeated strokes and colour layering helps to add depth and detail.

Students created colourful watercolour roses using loose, expressive brush strokes and simple layers of petals and colour. By repeating shapes and patterns, they’ll explore texture, movement and layering while creating a playful garden artwork full of creativity and imagination.

A two-week art project featuring a vibrant pink galah. Fluro paint, markers and paint pens were used to create the artwork. The galah was cut out and mounted onto black paper to make it stand out against the background, finally an abstract background was created to resemble gum trees in blossom, using bright colours and expressive lines.
