Established in 2004, The Doyles is an annual Australian Art Award and Exhibition held in Mudgeeraba, Queensland. This non acquisitive art award was created in honour of the famous painter, d'Arcy William Doyle. The Doyles was originally created to encourage emerging artists and has quickly gained a reputation for good quality art at reasonable prices. The exhibition is one of the largest of its ki

nd, with over 500 artworks hung in Salon Style, with several prize categories. The largest prize is for the Landscape Category where the winner receives $10,000. A win at The Doyles has been an important stepping stone in each winning artist’s career. Indeed, all winners from the past eight years are now full-time professional artists. Hopefully this trend will continue.
