3 art mistakes Gold Coast homeowners make (and how to fix them) — Part 1 of 2
The two most common mistakes I see when helping Gold Coast clients choose art for their home? Choosing nothing at all, and choosing art last.
This usually happens when you are moving house, right? You are so busy with the logistics of finding the right home, in your budget. Then there is the process of choosing the sofa to sit on (important!) and curtains so the neighbours aren't peeking in on you dashing out of the bathroom in your knickers...
But, I've been here - wiser, older me will tell you... you won't feel settled until there is art on your walls. Don't make the mistake of doing this last...at the very least, put something aside in your budget for art so when the dust settles you can get art up and your house finally feels 'right'.
Art is not the finishing touch. It is the starting point for a room that actually feels like you.
If you have been waiting for the "right time" to choose art, this is your sign.
And, just in case it all feels too much after you're already facing decision fatigue - you can always chat to me. I'd love to help make life simpler for you.
Part 2 coming next.
