To everyone who will be attending Aiden's sentencing on Tuesday, 9 June 2026, we would like to begin by expressing our sincere gratitude for your time, support, and willingness to stand beside our family on what will be one of the most difficult days of our lives.
We ask that everyone arrive at the Supreme Court of Queensland, 415 George Street, Brisbane, by 9:00am. We will be gathering on the grassed area directly outside the Court before proceedings commence. At this stage, we anticipate that the sentencing hearing may take approximately two hours.
Please remember that all persons entering the Court will be required to pass through security screening. To avoid any issues or delays, we recommend that you do not bring any sharp objects, including items such as multi-tools, nail files, or nail clippers, as these may be confiscated. Trust us—we are speaking from experience.
For those travelling into Brisbane, the easiest transport options are:
• Train to Roma Street Station, followed by a short walk to the Court precinct; or
• Early Bird Parking at the Uptown Car Park (formerly the Myer Centre), which currently offers a flat rate of $29 for vehicles entering before 9:30am (2.0m height restriction applies).
We encourage as many people as possible to attend. Your presence demonstrates that Aiden's life mattered and reflects the community's expectation that there be meaningful accountability when a child loses their life in such tragic circumstances.
Following the sentencing, we kindly ask everyone to join us back on the grassed area outside the Court for a group photograph. This photo will serve as a lasting reminder of the incredible support shown to Aiden and our family.
